FLIGHT DP-2026 · CABIN CREW WANTED

Dear Passengers: Survive the Flight

Dear Passengers turns the world's worst airline into a first-person co-op playground. Fly the plane, serve the cabin, accept questionable cargo, and keep a routine trip from becoming a physics-powered disaster.

Dear Passengers is planned for 2026. Wishlisting alerts you when FLEXUS posts release news.

01 · YOUR PRE-FLIGHT BRIEFING

What kind of game is Dear Passengers?

Dear Passengers is an action-adventure game built around teamwork, bad decisions, and slapstick physics. One crew member can stay in the cockpit while the rest work inside the aircraft. The job sounds simple: deliver passengers and cargo to their destination. The trouble is that the plane is unreliable, the customers are demanding, and the most profitable manifest may also be the most dangerous.

That setup makes Dear Passengers less like a serious flight simulator and more like a shared crisis generator. You still have responsibilities—pilot, serve, secure, repair, react—but loose objects, air pockets, weather, and unruly travelers can turn those responsibilities into comedy. Steam lists single-player and online co-op, so a lone employee can clock in too, although FLEXUS has not yet explained how solo role switching works.

02 · A FLIGHT IN FIVE DECISIONS

The Dear Passengers gameplay loop

The official description gives the ingredients. This practical route map shows how those systems fit into one readable shift.

  1. 01

    Build the manifest

Before takeoff, Dear Passengers asks the crew to choose who and what comes aboard. Safer choices should make the cabin easier to manage; risky passengers and high-paying cargo promise a better reward but create more ways for the flight to fail.

  2. 02

    Split the crew

Put a confident flyer in the cockpit and give the cabin a clear first responder. Dear Passengers supports online co-op, but no maximum player count is confirmed. Good communication may matter more than a large crew when problems happen at both ends of the aircraft.

    PILOT / CABIN
  3. 03

    Deliver budget-premium service

Passengers expect food, drinks, and something close to a smooth ride. In Dear Passengers, routine service keeps the cabin busy before the emergency arrives. A meal cart, loose suitcase, or impatient traveler can become part of the physics problem once the plane starts moving.

    SERVE / SECURE
  4. 04

    Contain the cascade

Dynamic weather, turbulence, and air pockets can throw passengers, luggage, and unsecured items through the cabin. Dear Passengers is about stopping one comic accident from becoming several: protect the cargo, settle the travelers, and keep the aircraft operating.

  5. 05

    Land and count the cost

The stated objective is delivery, preferably in one piece. A successful Dear Passengers run appears to balance arrival, safety, and payout rather than perfect procedure. The exact scoring, progression, and failure rules have not yet been detailed, so treat them as open questions.

03 · CREW OPERATING NOTES

How to organize a Dear Passengers crew

These are strategy suggestions based on the confirmed systems, not announced tutorials or class rules.

A · THE PILOT

Call the bumps early

Keep flying as the primary job. Warn the cabin before sharp turns, bad weather, or air pockets so teammates can secure loose cargo and passengers. Dear Passengers makes the cockpit and cabin dependent on each other; silence turns turbulence into cleanup.

B · CABIN LEAD

Triage, then serve

Choose the worst active problem, announce it, and finish it before chasing the next distraction. In Dear Passengers, food service matters, but a moving suitcase or unstable traveler can create a chain reaction that costs more time than a delayed drink.

C · MANIFEST LEAD

Price the trouble

Do not simply select every lucrative option. Mix high-risk cargo with manageable passengers until your group learns the aircraft. Dear Passengers openly links higher payouts to more trouble, so the manifest is effectively the crew's difficulty choice before departure.

Watch the Dear Passengers trailer

The announcement trailer shows the tone more clearly than a checklist can: first-person cockpit work, crowded cabins, improvised problem-solving, and a plane that seems determined to embarrass its crew. Play it here, then open Steam to keep Dear Passengers on your radar.
